The Fictional Tales of Shikamaru and Temari

          
                    Chapter 1

"Shikamaru Nara!!!! Get down here now! Temari is down here waiting!!!" Mrs. Nara yelled with Temari standing by her. Shikamaru lifted his head from his pillow as he heard his mother yell. "Coming! Geez, What a pain..." Shikamaru said pulling his covers off and getting up from his bed. He walked over to his closet and opened it. "Same old, Same old. Why? I'll just wear my clothes from yesterday then. >.<" he said as he shut the closet doors with a slight creak. He walked over and grabbed his shirt. He then got dressed and ran out his door with his back pack. He slid down the stair case. " Shikamaru! Hurry up!" Mrs. Nara yelled. " Hah... I'm right here! *thoughts: god... bastard.*" He said. Temari looked up from the ground and looked at Shikamaru.  They walked out the door. As they were walking Temari asked Shikamaru some stuff. " Did you finish that book report that Iruka gave us?" she asked, I hpoe i get a reasonable grade...  *sigh*" " Yeah, i finished it. Good thing too, i didn't know it was due today." He replied. " That is a good thing. It probably wouldn't of mattered that much though. Iruka's pretty much nice no matter what." She said. " True, Temari." He said as he passed a big rock. " *gasp* The bell's gonna ring!" Temari said running off with her book bag pounding against her thigh every time her left leg moved upward, " Bet you can't beat me there!" she yelled. "*sigh* Better get going." he said starting to run. Shikamaru ran afst enough to catch up with Temari. They laughed a little and ran faster. " Ha Ha! Can't beat me Shikamaru! It's not possible!" She said running a little faster. Shikamaru ran as fast as she could." Yeah right Shikamaru!" she said running and looking back at him. " *gasp* Temari! Look out! There's Sakura riding her--" Shikamaru couldn't finish his sentence because it had already happened. Shikamaru ran over to her as fast as she could. She was lying on the ground with her eyes closed. Sakura got up from her fallen bike. "*gasp* I'm so sorry Shikamaru! Is she okay?!" she asked frightened. " She's okay, only a few cuts and scratches. And she's only been knocked out. But i don't blame you. I would of got hit too." he said picking her up while Sakura grabbed Temari's book bag. "I'm really sorry Shikamaru, Tell Temari i'm sorry too." Sakura said for the 3rd time. " It's okay Sakura, I'll take her to the nurse. She'll be okay Sakura." Shikamaru said grabbing her book bag from Sakura. Shikamaru walked across the grass and the court yard. Temari slightly opened and eye. "* whisper voice* Ugh... Shikamaru? Why are you carrying me? " She asked. " Sakura accidentally hit you with her bike and you were knocked out. Now you have a bunch of bruises and cuts." he said. " Oh... " Temari closed her eyes. Shikamaru walked up the court yard steps to the door. He kicked the door open. " Shikamaru... It's okay, I can walk." She said lifting her head up a little. "It's okay Temari... I actually enjoy carrying you around." He said. Temari blushed a little. Shikamaru walked down the empty halls. Every step with a little echo from the floor." Shikamaru...? Why exactly do you care for me so much?" he asked softly staring at Shikamaru's arm (For no reason. She was just staring off into space). Shikamaru's eyes widened a little to Temari's question. " Well... Maybe it's because I sort of--" Shikamaru couldn't finish his sentence because Kakashi opened a door. " What are you two doing out of class?" He asked. " Sakura accidentally hit Temari with her bike." Shikamaru said. " Okay, but it's five minutes after. You'd better hurry." He said and then shut the door. Shikamaru started to walk again. He finally walked up to a door that said ~Nurses Office~ He kicked it open. There stood Shizune. " Hello Shikamaru." she said and then looked at Temari. " Temari. Your bleeding. Lay down here and i'll get to you in a second." Shizune said walking over to a cabinet. " Shikamaru, I'll send Temari to class as soon as i'm done with her. Why don;t you go to class? Iruka's probably looking for you." She said. " Okay Shizune." He aid walking out the door with his back pack following after. he ran down the hall to Iruka's room. He opened it and walked inside. " Shikamaru? I already sent up the roll list. You'll have to get a slip." Iruka said. "Ok. What a pain." Shikamaru said walking over to his desk and dropping off his back pack next to Hinata. He walked pout the door and ran down the hall again running down to the main office. He ran up to a door that read ~ Principle's Office~ He walked in and got  a slip from Tsunade. "Thanks Tsunade." He said. "Welcome Shikamaru." He walked out the door with the dumb 1 inch long slip in his hand. He remembered about the "question" Temari asked him. He thought " Gahh!!! Why DO I care so much for Temari?!?! It's complicated to think about!" He raged with the complicated question. Then he noticed that Temari was walking down the hall. She looked at him. " Shikamaru, I'm sorry for asking you that complicated question..." She said. shikamaru looked up directly into her eyes.
